Joel Andrew Williams, 40, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Joel was a member of the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church, an employee of Washington County, Virginia and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a very loving husband, father, and son.
Survivors include his wife, April B. Williams; step-son, Cory Jackson; daughter, Ashlee Williams; mother and father, Elaine Blevins Williams and Luther P. Williams Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, Luther P. "Lu" Williams Jr. and wife Vicki; two nephews, Colton Scott and Rylan Andrew Williams; sister-in-law, Becky Eastridge; niece, Heather Eastridge; brother-in-law, Brian Eastridge; father-in-law, Doug Eastridge; He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 8 PM Saturday, January 28 at the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Eller officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM and from 6-8 PM Saturday, January 28 prior to the funeral service at the church. Graveside services will be private.
Pallbearers will be Chad Gentry, Wes Collins, Larry Goble, Brian Eastridge, Ryan Cole, Michael Hale, Bryan Crutchfield, and Stephen Crutchfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Joines, Stephen Fields, Cory Jackson, Jeff Sturgill, Jason Blevins, Doug Eastridge, Danny Poe, and Joe Sexton.
