I did not know Joel personnaly, but just knowing the family, I know he had to be special. I'm so sorry in the loss of Joel, but know that he is home with the Lord. Please know that you are being thought of and have been for the last several days. I pray that your wonderful memories of Joel will comfort you during the days ahead. April, Ashley, Luther, Elaine & Lu my deepest sympathy go to you all. Joel became known as Smiley, for good reason, to all of us who work with him at BC. Since then I was very fortunate to call him a dear friend. I hope you all find comfort knowing that he is looking down on us with a Huge smile. In his on way he made some of my worst days some of the best. I love you my brother and will see you again.

I was so sorry to hear about Joel. He was always the sweetest person! Joel,April, and little Ashley had became so special to my mom and to all of us! We think of them as family. Please know that we are sending many prayers up for your family and may God wrap his arms of comfort around you all.
